As Trenton Systems continues to navigate the international public health impact of COVID-19, we feel that it is vitally important to provide updates on the actions we’re taking to protect our wonderful employees and support our loyal customers.
The health and safety of our employees is a top priority. Most of our office employees are now working safely from home, where they’re continuing to communicate with, and provide quality services to, our customers. Trenton Systems has implemented several safety measures to protect our workers and ensure compliance with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s preventative recommendations, as well as the requirements of local, state and federal governments. These measures include social distancing of at least six feet, banning gatherings of more than 10 people and the cancellation of in-person meetings and customer visits, which are now being conducted over the phone and via video/audio conference calls.
Due to the nature of the products we provide, we have been identified as part of the defense industrial base and critical infrastructure sector, as identified by the United States Department of Homeland Security and Department of Defense. According to the DHS, the purpose of the critical infrastructure identification is to “sustain communities’ public health and safety of government, economy and society despite possible impacts to the workforce and critical infrastructure workforce brought on by consequences of COVID-19.” In short, Trenton Systems’ employees have been identified as necessary and essential to sustaining the nation’s military defense services, which contribute to and support the country’s national security efforts.
In addition, Trenton Systems is adhering to the guidelines outlined in Gov. Brian Kemp’s shelter-in-place order. We will, however, continue to design, manufacture, assemble, integrate, and support our military, industrial, and commercial computing solutions during the order.
As a United States company that also designs and manufactures its products in the United States, we take the DHS’s and DoD’s identifications seriously. As such, we recognize that effective measures are required to ensure the health and safety of our employees, who continue to work during the COVID-19 pandemic. As previously stated, Trenton Systems has implemented necessary safety measures and will continue to monitor, evaluate and implement the government’s preventative recommendations accordingly.
We encourage the community to stay up to date with the actions that we’re taking. Please visit our COVID-19 Updates web page for additional information.
