LAWRENCEVILLE, GA—Trenton Systems has secured a multi-million-dollar program win from a major international prime contractor for two airborne applications: electronic warfare and data recording. The integration of secure, USA-made computers is a critical component of this program along with a heavy focus on lightweight rack servers.
The customer chose Trenton because of their superior board and system design as well as the SWaP-C optimization of their solutions, which aid in reducing the total cost of ownership over an extended period of time due to Trenton's extended computer lifecycle. This ongoing deployment represents the customer’s commitment to Trenton’s current and next-gen technologies.
Our 2U and 3U rack mount servers, for example, are equipped with dual Intel Xeon SP motherboards, the latest PCIe interface, and are ruggedized to withstand extreme shock, vibe, and temperatures to operate at maximum efficiency across a wide range of environments.
For airborne applications, our rack mount servers take up very little physical space; they also offer operators tool-less interaction and reduce fuel costs due to their minimal weight. With high bandwidth and low latency, these systems help enhance computing capabilities at the edge in real-time.
Cost-efficient and equipped with low-power processing, our solutions are tested and certified to DO-160, MIL-STD-461, and other stringent military standards required on board aircraft to help strengthen electronic warfare (EW), C6ISR, and signal intelligence (SIGINT) applications.
"Supporting military primes and various defense contractors with US-made, high-performance computing is of utmost importance as the DoD ramps up onshoring of chip fabrication, hardware manufacturing and assembly, and supply chain risk management across the spectrum," said Sean Campbell, Chief Commercial Officer at Trenton Systems.
"Trenton's dedication to this mission continues to play a key role in providing the armed forces with the equipment they need to advance technologically across all domains of the battlespace," added Philippe Weber, director of sales at Trenton Systems.
“This win is a manifestation of Trenton’s global reach, demonstrating our ability to develop customized solutions for customers both at home and abroad,” said Yazz Krdzalic, VP of Marketing at Trenton Systems. “With solutions crafted for operation across a wide range of environments, we are able to address various customer requirements and, if needed, create new systems according to their specifications.”
Trenton Systems' ruggedized, secure, USA-made, high-performance computers deliver immediate, actionable insights to increase situational awareness and shorten response times at the strategic, tactical, and operational levels.
