IBM's z14 Mainframe is a breaktrhough transaction system. It introduces an encryption engine that, for the first time, allows to pervasively encrypt data associated with any application, cloud service or database, all the time. These new capabilities are designed to address the global epidemic of data breaches. The z14 mainframe also encrypts data 18x faster than compared x86 platforms at 5% of the cost.
